What you’ll do
- Write and ship production-grade code, and own hard, loosely defined problems
- Lead a team of 4–5 engineers as their technical lead
- Drive architecture decisions and run design and code reviews
- Break down ambiguous problems and unblock the team
- Raise the team’s standards in ML rigour and engineering discipline
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in engineering, with 2–3+ years of hands-on ML/DL or AI systems in production
- Solid ML/DL fundamentals, from classical ML to transformers, with disciplined evaluation
- LLM applications in production, such as RAG, structured output, tool calling and agents
- Production Python with FastAPI or similar, async code, testing and profiling
- Well-designed REST APIs, including auth, rate limiting and streaming responses
- Strong PostgreSQL skills, plus vector stores and Redis
- Docker, CI/CD, AWS or similar, and monitoring for AI systems
- Clear written communication and a mentoring mindset
Nice to have
- Document AI, OCR or handwriting recognition
- Bangla or low-resource multilingual NLP
- Time-series forecasting
- ERP or enterprise systems such as SAP or Odoo
- Experience in the education domain
- On-device or edge inference
