What you’ll do
- Design scalable, high-throughput services with NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ and AWS
- Own features end to end, from design through monitoring and root cause analysis
- Tune MongoDB performance, including aggregation pipelines and indexes
- Build and maintain microservices over RabbitMQ and Redis
- Improve CI/CD and deployment automation
- Review code, mentor engineers and run load tests
What we’re looking for
- 5–7 years of backend engineering with NestJS and TypeScript
- In-depth MongoDB expertise, plus solid SQL and NoSQL database design
- A solid grasp of Node.js internals, such as the event loop, streams and memory
- 2+ years hands-on with AWS or Azure, and strong CI/CD experience
- Production experience with RabbitMQ, Redis and microservices
- Proven system design, load testing and application security skills
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Optimising AI-assisted or agentic coding workflows
- DevOps experience, such as IaC, container orchestration and observability
- Hands-on work with AI agents and LLMs
